Tuesday 26th June 2018, local State MP for Mulgoa Tanya Davies returned to Bill Anderson Reserve, Kemps Creek, accompanied on this occasion by the President of Southern Districts Soccer Football Association Andy Favalaro and Gino Marra Association Secretary.
The Club was privileged to obtain additional funding for the upgrade of Floodlights on Field Two and weather shelter for spectators on field one.
On behalf of Kemps Creek United Soccer Club , the Treasurer Michael Furfaro welcomed the MP and other official guests. The event was supported by committee members, players, coaches and the local community. The Club’s acknowledges the ongoing assistance and support and are extremely grateful.
“We are very appreciative of the support the Club receives from Tanya and the State Government, and sincerely thank her for taking time from her busy schedule to visit the Club,” Furfaro said. In addition “This funding will enable us to finally complete this important project.”
Club President Ross Maiorana also welcomed the financial boost. “Every time we’ve needed some help with funds, Tanya has been able to assist. It was a pleasure showcasing our facilities and how the Club operates to everyone present. This is a project we can now complete, and further improve the facilities at our ground,” said Maiorana.
With the commissioning of the lights we now have two fields available to train and play on in the evenings.
