Resumption of Training

Hi All,

We hope you are remaining well and life for you all is starting to get back to normal.

This afternoon, approval was granted by the Government and Football NSW for community ‘grassroots’ football to resume.

We will be briefing our Coaches and Managers next week of all the guidelines, rules and regulations that will need to be adhered to, with the view of commencing a modified version of training from Monday 01 June.

All Team Coaches/ Managers will inform each participant of their team of the scheduled training sessions for the upcoming period.

The Club will provide all necessary information and items including hand sanitisers in accordance with the specified requirements.

Parents will also be briefed on their requirements which will include strict pick-up and drop-off protocols and the continuation of social distancing measures.

Whilst sport has been in a temporary hiatus, the Club has remained busy and upon your return to the ground, you will notice some marked improvements, namely a re-painted and refreshed clubhouse thanks largely to our Under 21s Coach Gabi ‘The Great Gabor’ Fejszes who has laboured away over many hours in recent weeks with tools and paintbrushes, with the occasional help from Committee Members.

Thank you to Gabi for an outstanding effort, all the while continuing to maintain the fields in readiness for a football resumption.

Whilst some areas of the Club will remain out of bounds even when football resumes due to new Covid-19 rules and restrictions that will be in place, members and visitors will be able to enjoy the uplifted facilities in due course.

You will also notice the car park is well and truly taking shape and is nearing completion.

We are very appreciative of this project undertaken by Liverpool Council. Works are expected to conclude in the coming weeks.

For now, stay safe, stay healthy and stay tuned for further updates.

Regards –
