Under 15 and 16 boys pre season trials
Our pre season trip away started early Saturday morning with a buzz of excitement. We hit the road, arrived at our accomodation and festivities started.
Between the two teams the U/15’s and U/16’s we consumed, 2kg of home made Salami, 1kg of olives, 10kg chicken ribs, 100 bread rolls, 8 big cans of tuna, 50 sausages, 5 kg of salad, 5kg of steak, 1kg of flour for pancakes and munchies in between. We ate like kings.
Sunday morning the sun came out as Jervis Bay is Gods country, and he loves soccer. U/15’s kicked off at 9am and finished the game off on a winning note. U/16’s kicked off at 11am and won as well. Huskisson soccer club were a great host and always will be a great friend to Kemps Creek united.

The Kemps Creek United Soccer Club is poised to undertake some significant upgrades to its already impressive facilities at Bill Anderson Reserve following an announcement of funding assistance by State Member for Mulgoa, Tanya Davies MP.
The Club was successful in obtaining two major grants through the State Government’s funding programs. Early this year, $20,000 was awarded towards the upgrading of floodlighting on Field 2 courtesy of the Government’s Community Building Partnerships Program, while last month, the Club received another $20,000, this time from the Office of Sport, to upgrade the clubhouse with an extension to the awning.
Club President, Ross Maiorana summed up his appreciation for the funding.
‘On behalf of the Club, I am very grateful for the funding we have received and would like to sincerely thank our local MP, Tanya Davies for her support. These are two important projects for the Club, and as we continue to grow in numbers, it is vital that we can accommodate our members and visitors with the best facilities possible’.
